Over the years, we—Lenny and Rachel Ledet—built a portfolio in traditional real estate investing. But as time went on, we found ourselves craving something more meaningful. We wanted to contribute to the community in a way that truly matters. That's how the idea for Lynnwood Place was born.

Located in Mandeville, Louisiana, on the serene Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain, our vision was simple: to create a warm, comfortable, and safe home for seniors—one where every resident is embraced like family.

A Home Rooted in Experience and Dedication

With 25 years in healthcare, Lenny brings invaluable expertise in patient oversight, financial stewardship, and ensuring the highest quality of care. As Business Consultant and Marketing Manager, Rachel infuses our mission with strategic direction, community outreach, and heartfelt connection. Together, our shared passion and complementary skillsets shape the nurturing environment of Lynnwood Place.

Meeting the Growing Need for Senior Care

The aging population is surging—and Louisiana is no exception. Today, nearly 20% of Louisiana’s population are seniors, making them the state’s fastest growing demographic NIC MAPLouisiana Department of Health. Nationally, we face a significant shortage in senior housing: experts estimate that by 2030, the U.S. will need over 560,000 new senior housing units to meet rising demand Wall Street Journal.

Occupancy rates in senior living communities continue to climb, tightening availability even further National Investment CenterPERE. In this landscape, we felt compelled to act. We knew the traditional "real estate investment" path could be redirected toward something with deeper consequence—preserving dignity, cultivating community, and enriching the lives of those entering their golden years.

At Lynnwood Place, we love your family like they're our family. Our choice to open this home wasn’t just about property—we chose to build a sanctuary where seniors feel valued, cherished, and genuinely at home.
